A Visit with Santa

Well, other than deliveries, the holiday madness has ceased! On my first day away from the computer, I took Noah to the History Museum to see Santa. Now mind you on our way into the building, he says 'I don't want to sit on his lap'. OY. Couple that with just being 2 and a half and having NO attention span, I knew that things *may* get a bit hairy. He did surprisingly well! Even though he didn't sit, he listened to Santa's stories and songs. But when it came time to 'meet and greet', I got squirmy. We walked over and Santa strikes up a little conversation with Noah. He warmed up and even sat - albeit 3 feet away - and had a picture taken with the jolly fella! ;)

A Friendly Reminder...

Regarding copyright of your photos-

All images are copyright of Stefanie Weber Photography. It is ILLEGAL and unlawful (not to mention just plain mean) to save, scan, copy, or reproduce my work in any manner. I go to great lengths to provide my clients with beautiful, top quality images. I craft each image meticulously in my digital darkroom; copying and scanning GREATLY reduces their beauty and quality. Reproducing my images can also damage my reputation as a photographer. 1 hour labs and home scanners/printers distort and devalue the quality of my images, which once again I take great pride in.

I put a great amount of time and heart into my work, and my wish is that my images look their very best. No matter how good you think a copied or scanned image looks, believe me, it doesn't do my work justice!

Thank you for respecting my work and livelihood!

A Take on a Classic

I commissioned the amazingly talented Erika Jones to paint this fun portrait of my family. The Beatles' Abbey Road is one of my most favorite album covers and I thought it'd be fun to recreate a version of it, incorporating my family. I think it turned out wonderfully...so whimsical!

Thank you Erika!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Caution - picture overload ahead!

I am wrapping up sessions and orders for the holidays, thus my bad blogging habits! ;)

Here's what I've been up to lately...

I traveled to see these gorgeous kiddos yesterday. I knew I'd love little miss 'E' as soon as I walked through the door and she wanted me to hold her. I love when little ones warm up to me so quickly! She had an amazing wardrobe of handmade outfits from Spain, some of which are showcased in these shots. She's already such a classic little beauty!

And this is big brother 'F'. He has the most contagious smile and the way he said 'Miss Stefanie' made my heart melt.

Here we are playing a little game of peek-a-boo

It's not easy...

being this darn cute!

This little guy had THE best hair ever! I love it!

Her boys...

I had a blast with these guys today. Ages 3 and 4, and FULL of energy!

There's a phenomenon known as 'missing mommy syndrome' when it comes to photographs. It seems that moms are always the ones taking the pictures. ;) We set out to remedy this problem for this beautiful family today, and I must say-what I wouldn't give to have images like this with my son! I think mom will be VERY pleased!

So, here are 'D' and 'M' (with their mom-YAY!)...handsome boys with cute red shoes.

I'm just going to jump right in here with some pictures. ;)

This is sweet, one-year old 'B'. I went to school with mom and dad, so it was cool to meet and photograph the child of two people that I've known for so long. Hope the party was fun!

Next up were 'E' and 'M'. This is the second time I've photographed these sweet girls. 'M' was a newborn last I saw her, so I couldn't believe how much she'd grown--she'll be one soon! And big sis 'E'...oh, she has the most beautiful smile, not to mention the coolest wardrobe!

Sweet Sisters

I love seeing the bond between siblings. There was nothing but love between these two during our session. It was so sweet! And I loved E & C's matching princess dresses--so girlie!

Golden Light

I've been chomping at the bit to try some shots out in this field that is practically in our backyard. I know better than to try and get my little man out there...so, I opted for a willing subject - my hubby! ;)

I loved the backlighting and the golden color of these shots.

Beautiful Fall Color

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. Who doesn't love cooler temps and the gorgeous colors?!

Last year, hubby and I took a day trip to Roaring Run. It was a textbook fall day...just perfect! If you haven't taken a hike there before, you must get out and do it now! Here are a few shots from our day there.

Lots of sneak peeks

I've been a bad blogger here lately. I'll make it up to you by posting some sneak peeks from recent sessions! ;)

My first session of the week was with newborn 'G'. Such a sweet, sleepy little fella.

How I love those sleepy smiles...
My next two sessions were repeat clients. I love watching my kids grow!

I last photographed 'AH' right before her first birthday. If it's possible, she's gotten even more beautiful!

It's also been about a year since I last saw 'S' and 'R'. It was hot as blazes then, so at least the weather was kinder to us! And they were just as fun! And I LOVED the way they were dressed!
