Fields of Gold
Hubby and I took a break this weekend and headed to the beach. Imagine my happiness when we passed this field of sunflowers...it was just gorgeous!

Schedule update
I wanted to post a schedule update for all of you thinking about fall/holiday sessions.
I have 3 weekend dates left for September, and 3 for October. Those first 3 weekends in November are still fair game. As you can see, weekends fill quickly. I am free for weekday sessions. So, never fear, I still have some availability.
Please keep in mind that in order for holiday print delivery, you must book a session by November 10th. I will hold sessions through the end of November, but prints from those sessions will not be available until after the holidays. For those moms to be who are delivering in December, I will hold newborn sessions (2 weeks old and under) through the end of the year. I'd hate for those fleeting moments to not be captured!

Custom Framing
I've held off on the custom framing business because I was waiting for *just* the right frame. Well, I came across these handmade beauties and knew that these were 'it'.
These frames are solid wood, hand-painted and hand-distressed. They come in a variety of sizes (5x5 to 40x50) and colors and designs, including distressed, fluted, crackle and stripes. They are the perfect compliment to your prints! Contact me for further information.

The perks of my job...
Not only do I get to do what I love, but I get to watch these sweet babies grow!
Meet 'D', 10 months...I last photographed him at 7 days. He's the little bundle on the big bed on the first slide of my website (and he's also on my biz card). He's the most adorable little fella, and he loved my camera, literally. He loved checking out my lens!
So, here's a sneak peek for D's parents...I hope you enjoy!

Canvas...
how I love thee! ;)
Gallery wrapped canvas is a product that I am so excited to offer! Canvas is a wonderful addition to your wall grouping and showcases your images beautifully...like a true piece of art should be shown!
I am ecstatic about adorning the walls of our new home. I will be sure to post some wall gallery ideas once I really get going on my decorating.
This one makes me particularly happy because it's my little guy. I was so excited to get eye contact, albeit with a very serious expression, but still, he's looking at me! He's hip to my silly antics and no longer acknowledges my camera. *boo, hiss*

Holiday Card Collection
I LOVE the design...elegant, yet whimsical. And the color combo is so yummy!
These photo cards are 5x7 (and one 5x5) and are $2.25 per card. There is a minimum purchase of 25 cards. Greeting can be customized.
Like I said in an earlier post, it's never too early to get those cards crossed off of your holiday list! ;)
Here are a few more I am offering.

Lots of sneak peeks!
Things have been busy around here! I have lots of sneak peeks to showcase.
I must send out a big thank you to all my parents and kids who have braved this sweltering heat with me! Despite the heat, I have gotten some wonderful shots!
My sessions have been filled with girlies here lately...
What beauties, huh?!
And then some handsome little guys...

Where does time go?
This is a question I ask every time I photograph a newborn. I just can't believe that my little guy is now a toddler. *sigh*
I LOVE photographing newborns. Capturing that pureness is so very important because before you know it, they've gone and grown up on you!
I had the pleasure of photographing sweet baby 'R' yesterday. We got some awake shots and my most favorite, the curly sleepy poses.

To think about the holidays! I am getting ready to release my 2007 Christmas card collection. Check back soon as I will be posting examples--this year's collection is GREAT!
My holiday deadline is November 10th. Booking your session by this date will ensure that all prints and cards are ready for holiday mailing/gifting.
There will be no sessions held in December. Be sure to book your session soon, as my calendar is filling quickly!

Cotton Canandy
These girls were SO much fun--makes me want some pink around the house! ;)
After the session, they were being treated to ice cream...when we asked 'H' what flavor she was going to get, she responded 'cotton canandy'. Well, we laughed our heads off, and so did she...we got some great shots from that little tongue twister!
