~ Fresh ~
Meet adorable little 'T'. My youngest newborn to date, coming in at 9 days old. He was such an angel. He slept the entire session, allowing me to do what I pleased. I love trying to recreate womb positions. You can just imagine how nestled he was in mom's belly!

Loss

We lost our Moose (the handsome fella on the upper right) yesterday. Letting him go was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do. Losing a pet is a horrible experience...but losing one with such presence is just devastating. Nine years just doesn't seem like enough time.
We'll miss you, sweet Moosie.

Email troubles
I have a sneaking suspicion that my stefanie@stefanieweberphotography email is not working as it should. For what reason I do not know. I am checking into it though. In the meantime, please send all email to: photosbystefanie@cox.net.
I apologize for any inconvenience.

Just a heads up...
Belly and baby sneak peeks
I think that every expectant mother should have her portraits done. It is such a wonderous and beautiful time in a woman's life. Yeah, we don't feel that way towards the end of that long 40 weeks (*ahem* 41 weeks for me), but documenting that stage in your life is so very important!

A New Look!

I'm proud to announce the new and improved stefanieweberphotography.com!
The new format better showcases my work and has some really helpful features. Most notably, a calendar and a shopping cart option. These features will hopefully make things much more streamlined for not only me, but also my clients.
Please take a look around and let me know what you think!

Bad Blogger!
Shame on me!
The last few weeks have been a bit tumultuous...I'm happy to say that things have finally calmed down!
I have lots of new offerings to unveil in 2008 and some changes that I'm very excited about! I might even throw in a contest! ;)
I must send out a heartfelt thanks to all of my 2007 clients. I smile when I think about all the wonderful children I've had the opportunity to photograph. You all have made my year and I must say, I'm one lucky girl! I look forward to all of the new little folks I'll meet in 2008.
I have some recent sessions to share with you all too, so stay tuned!

A Visit with Santa
Well, other than deliveries, the holiday madness has ceased! On my first day away from the computer, I took Noah to the History Museum to see Santa. Now mind you on our way into the building, he says 'I don't want to sit on his lap'. OY. Couple that with just being 2 and a half and having NO attention span, I knew that things *may* get a bit hairy. He did surprisingly well! Even though he didn't sit, he listened to Santa's stories and songs. But when it came time to 'meet and greet', I got squirmy. We walked over and Santa strikes up a little conversation with Noah. He warmed up and even sat - albeit 3 feet away - and had a picture taken with the jolly fella! ;)

A Friendly Reminder...
Regarding copyright of your photos-
All images are copyright of Stefanie Weber Photography. It is ILLEGAL and unlawful (not to mention just plain mean) to save, scan, copy, or reproduce my work in any manner. I go to great lengths to provide my clients with beautiful, top quality images. I craft each image meticulously in my digital darkroom; copying and scanning GREATLY reduces their beauty and quality. Reproducing my images can also damage my reputation as a photographer. 1 hour labs and home scanners/printers distort and devalue the quality of my images, which once again I take great pride in.
I put a great amount of time and heart into my work, and my wish is that my images look their very best. No matter how good you think a copied or scanned image looks, believe me, it doesn't do my work justice!
Thank you for respecting my work and livelihood!

A Take on a Classic
I commissioned the amazingly talented Erika Jones to paint this fun portrait of my family. The Beatles' Abbey Road is one of my most favorite album covers and I thought it'd be fun to recreate a version of it, incorporating my family. I think it turned out wonderfully...so whimsical!
Thank you Erika!
