Rainy day session

I got to meet this sweet little peanut over the weekend. It was such a dreary, rainy day. I was so afraid we'd have to reschedule. Thank heavens for bright foyer light! ;) 9-day old 'M' let me do whatever I pleased with him...he never even made a peep.

This is his 'Peace Out' pose :)

Here are 'M's' big sister and brother.

The perfect age to photograph

I love the 6-8 month old timeframe. Little ones are sitting, and not yet crawling...and that = can't get away! ;) And they give their smiles so freely, as personalities are in full bloom. Such a fun stage!

Here's handsome 'L'. He was such a joy, so happy and smiley. I had a wonderful time hanging out with the entire family!

Playing with his feet...

Look at that little tongue! Sooo cute!

2 weeks new

Newborn sessions are always so much fun. Each baby is so different, and I learn so much from each session. This is 2-week old 'T'. He taught me that every baby doesn't like to be naked and that you can't fight sleep forever! ;)

I could've just cuddled all 6 pounds of him all day. I love having a toddler, don't get me wrong, but I do miss that sweet baby smell, and those little tiny fingers and toes.

We started the session with some awake shots...

then off to sleep he went. He loved being wrapped. I'm always so leery about changing their position once they go to sleep. Doen't he look so angelic?

Some girlies to round out the week

So this week was chock full of little guys. My week of sessions ended with these two cute girls. Miss 'E' was about to become a big sister last time I saw her. I was so excited to meet little sister 'C'. I love watching my families grow and see the interaction between siblings.

I brought out the petticoats, which little girls always love. They both looked so cute in it...all that frilliness (is that even a word?!)!

The second shot in this collage is a take on the version I did of 'E' last year. I told her to give me some sass, and boy did she bring it! Love the hand on the hip! ;)

On the go!

The last time I saw 'R', he was about 2 weeks old. He's now a busy little one year old. I'd love to bottle the energy of one year olds as they are always on the go! I love the challenge though...capturing this age is so fun!

I LOVE this first shot--such a handsome little guy!

Model material

Imagine my suprise to see how much 'B' had grown since I last saw him in 2006. He's got killer curls and let me tell you, this boy knows how to work it! I love the range of expressions I got from him. I have so many faves from this session that it was hard picking which ones to show Mom.

Must...stop...I could show you the entire session! Mom, I hope you enjoy! ;)

More sneaks to come later...

A couple of cute fellas ;)

As if capturing the sweet little souls my clients are isn't awesome enough, watching them grow just makes my heart happy. I love seeing them change from fuzzy, sleepy little newborns into children with such personality, loved so much by their parents.

I've had the pleasure of photographing both these little guys since they were newborns.

Here's 'B'. I last saw him at 5 weeks. He's now a sweet 8 month old who LOVES dogs (you'll see proof below) and my duck impression! ;)

I told you...l-o-v-e-s dogs!!! Funny little guy! =)

And here's 'T'. My little guy from the eastern part of the state. I last photographed him at 9 days, he's now 6 months. You'll notice he's my blog header baby. I just had to use the 'Babylegs' on him. They are such a fun little 'prop'. I'll be seeing 'T' again in November...I can't wait to see how he's changed yet again!

Stay tuned later this week for more sneak peeks...this week's gonna be a crazy one! I'll have lots of cuties to show you!
